At Vellum (“Vellum”, “we”, “us”) we take the protection of your personal data seriously. This policy explains how we process your personal data when you visit vellumsoftware.com or contact us, in line with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and other applicable data protection laws.

1. Data controller

Your personal data is processed by Vellum as the data controller.

2. Data we process

Contact form data: name, email address, company name (optional), the subject you select and the content of your message.
Email correspondence: information you share when you email us directly.
Technical data: server logs such as IP address, browser and device information, and date and time of visit.

3. Why we process it

To respond to your inquiries, questions and partnership proposals,
To assess applications to the Vira pilot program and conduct related discussions,
To conduct investment and partnership discussions,
To notify you about our game launches if you ask us to,
To keep the website secure and prevent abuse and spam,
To meet our legal obligations and protect our rights in case of disputes.

4. How we collect it and legal bases

We collect data electronically through the contact form, email and automated means (server logs). We process it on the basis of: steps taken to enter into or perform a contract, compliance with legal obligations, establishing, exercising or defending legal claims, our legitimate interests (provided they do not override your fundamental rights), and your explicit consent where required.

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as needed for the purposes above with:

Cloudflare, Inc. (USA), for website hosting,
Web3Forms, to deliver contact form submissions to our inbox,
Our email service provider,
Competent public authorities, where legally required.

Our service providers’ servers may be located outside Türkiye. In that case, transfers are carried out in accordance with Article 9 of KVKK and other applicable laws.

6. How long we keep it

We keep contact requests for as long as needed to handle your request and for any retention periods required by law. After that, the data is deleted, destroyed or anonymized. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security purposes.

7. Cookies

Our website currently does not use cookies, including advertising, marketing or analytics cookies. Fonts are served from our own site, not from third-party font services. The moving dot graphic at the top of the home page runs entirely in your browser; your cursor movements are not recorded or sent to any server. If we start using cookies in the future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.

8. Your rights

Under Article 11 of KVKK, you have the right to:

Learn whether your personal data is processed and request information about it,
Learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly,
Know the third parties, in Türkiye or abroad, to whom your data is transferred,
Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data,
Request deletion or destruction of your data under the conditions of Article 7 of KVKK,
Request that corrections and deletions be notified to third parties who received the data,
Object to outcomes against you that result solely from automated analysis,
Claim compensation for damages caused by unlawful processing.

10. Our products

This policy covers our website only. Separate privacy policies will be published for Vira and our games when they become available.
